Takeaway: After this session attendees are able to As a Data/BI/DWH Architect/analyst/ consultant you are a seasoned data professional. But you are challenged by compliance like GDPR, data security and privacy issues and other governance challenges. On the other side are platform challenges, cloud and the tsunami of data tools. This needs to be managed while typical data problems like data value, data quality and data access needs to be maintained or improved.
We think that these issues should be addressed in a holistic fashion where you understand and influence the organization, the data and the technology in synergy.
In this session we will introduce a more balanced and productive way of doing data architecture. Enter the Data Quadrants Model, one of the key aspects of a “Full Scale Data Architect”. With this model you connect the dots between data management, governance and compliance on the one side, and tools, platforms on the other side. We will introduce the true power of abstraction and show you how to enable a more effective data strategy using the Data Quadrants Model.
